About the Owner
I’ve been a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) since 2017 and an active member of the kink community for just as long. I spent nearly a decade working at a large accounting firm, where I led a team of 20 professionals as a senior manager. While I enjoyed working on taxes, I felt disconnected from the larger institutional clients I was working with in that corporate setting.
When I’m not working or planning kink community events, you’ll often find me traveling, hiking, or experimenting with new dishes in the kitchen.
I’m passionate about the kink community as a local munch organizer myself. I’m a strong believer that supportive voices and spaces help strengthen our communities and push back against the feelings of shame and stigma that are so common in our circles. My goal is to help those voices—creatives, retail stores, venue owners, event organizers, and more—gain their footing and find success in the long term.
During the pandemic, I heard from friends in the community how difficult it was to find knowledgeable, empathetic professionals when starting and operating kinky businesses. The gap in service became clear to me. In late 2022, I left public accounting behind to start Teddy Bear CPA.
